The concert is organized by Fest Team and is part of the band's anniversary world tour, "50 Years of Positive Vibrations," celebrating 50 years since the release of the iconic Rastaman Vibration album (1976). The album brought Bob Marley & The Wailers worldwide recognition and helped introduce reggae music to audiences far beyond Jamaica.
Today, the band is led by Aston Barrett Jr., son of the legendary bassist Aston "Familyman" Barrett, while Mitchell Brunings is the lead vocalist. During the concert, fans will enjoy many of the band's timeless classics from the Bob Marley era, alongside newer songs with a fresh, contemporary sound.
The evening will also feature a performance by the Bulgarian band Taraleshta, founded in 2019 by Mitko Taralezhkov. Their unique music combines African rhythms, reggae influences and Balkan musical traditions into a distinctive sound.
The concert will take place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at VIDAS Art Arena (Velodrome), located in Borisova Gradina Park, just a short walk from Vasil Levski Stadium Metro Station.
Tickets for the event are available through the Ticketstation.bg ticket network.
Whether you are a long-time reggae fan or simply looking for an unforgettable summer experience in Sofia, this concert offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the music of one of the most influential reggae bands in history.
