SOFIA LIGHTS VOL.5 – MAGICAL REALITY IN THE PARK

Visitors will experience a magical light reality in the park of the Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski,” where works by world-renowned visual artist Amanda Parer will be exhibited. Her installations have been showcased in more than 300 cities worldwide, and she is considered one of the most influential names in contemporary light art.

The composition in Sofia includes six monumental figures – “Man” and five sculptures from the “Fantastic Planet” series, connected with the art installations “Particles” and “Presence 2.0” by studio EMPATIA. The project uses monumental scale and light to transform the urban environment into a space for reflection and immersive artistic experience.

The event is organized by Urban Art Foundation-U.A.F., Urban Creatures, and EMPATIA. SOFIA LIGHTS vol.5 is part of the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality and is held with its financial support, in partnership with the Ministries of Tourism and Culture, the Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski,” Metropolis Outdoor Medya Group, Bilet BG, and “Etud-i-te na Sofia.” Amanda Parer’s participation is funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

Tickets are valid for a specific date and time slot.

Time slots:

• 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM (entry until 10:30 PM)

Visitors will not be admitted outside their selected time slot.
Smoking in the park is strictly prohibited. Pets, bicycles, roller skates, drones, and crossing safety barriers are not allowed. Only water bottles up to 1 liter are permitted.
